Racing will kick off with the Twin 150s in Notrees, March 27-28. This race is a multiple race format, with 3 laps running one direction in the morning and 3 laps running the other direction in the afternoon. This will keep drivers on their toes, as well as provide much needed time in between races for repairs. The Notrees track is as close to racing out west as you’re going to get. With silt beds, whoops, long straightaways, and technical turns the track offers challenges for racers of all experience levels and classes.
The second race of the season will be the annual Texana 180, July 10-12 at the historic Texana Ranch. This will be a night race, so bring your lights. There is nothing like swimming in Texana’s large pool during the day, and racing on it’s 43 mile track at night. Texana also offers RV hookups, and a huge groomed pit. This event is one you don’t want to miss, fun for the whole family.
The final race of the season will be September 25-26, location TBD. We’re always working on new tracks, and ways to improve upon the properties that we already have access to. Therefore we’re waiting to see what develops before announcing the location of our third and final race of the season. Don’t worry, we will give everyone plenty of time to make travel arrangements.
We look forward to seeing everyone out for the 2015 season. We feel confident that it will be our best yet!
